Up for sale is a Vintage Rolex Art Deco Cocktail Watch Buckle, originally removed from a fabric bracelet fitted to an antique Rolex cocktail watch from the 1920s. Featuring an elegant Art Deco floral design, this beautifully crafted buckle is an exceptional survivor from the early days of Rolex and would make a fantastic finishing touch for the restoration of a period-correct vintage watch.
Although this buckle was removed directly from an original 1920s Rolex watch, it was likely not manufactured by Rolex themselves. During this era, Rolex commonly outsourced components such as buckles, bracelets, and other accessories to local jewelers, watchmakers, and specialist manufacturers. This practice was typical of the period, making original companion pieces like this both historically correct and highly collectible.
The buckle is in good antique physical condition with honest signs of age and use consistent with being approximately 100 years old. It is ready to be fitted to a new fabric strap and enjoyed once again. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully prior to purchase.
This is an exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire an authentic period Rolex companion accessory that will likely not become available again anytime soon.

The waterproof Oyster case, self-winding Perpetual rotor, and postwar tool watches—including the Submariner, GMT-Master, and Daytona—created the blueprint for the modern sports watch and made originality the central concern in vintage Rolex collecting.
