The 6138-0011, commonly known among collectors as the “UFO” or “Yachtsman,” is one of Seiko’s most recognizable vintage automatic chronographs, known for its distinctive design and Seiko’s legendary 6138 automatic chronograph movement. The Japanese domestic variant of this model was labeled “Speedtimer,” while export versions were produced without the Speedtimer designation on the dial. This example is an export version, featuring an English/Roman numeral day wheel and a dial without the Speedtimer insignia found on the Japanese variant. The watch is in full working condition and running and holding accurate time over a 24-hour period. The chronograph is fully functional and resets correctly to its proper positions.
