Vintage Digital Watches
Digital watches were the first computers most people ever wore. LED models arrived in the early 1970s, glowing red at the press of a button, and LCD followed mid-decade, turning the watch into a platform: alarms, chronographs, calculators, melodies, games, and sensors all landed on the wrist by the 1980s. Japan won that race, and the digitals Casio, Seiko, and Citizen built between roughly 1975 and 1995 are now collected as the first generation of wearable electronics.
This collection gathers the working survivors: 1980s Casio multifunctions, Seiko and Citizen LCDs, JDM Alba oddities, and the occasional LED. Displays, buttons, and backlights are checked, with condition noted in each listing. Pay attention to case condition, since resin and plated finishes show their age honestly, and remember that most of these run for years on a single inexpensive battery.
