► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a beautifully preserved vintage Elgin men’s wristwatch, featuring a 10K gold-filled case and a clean, utilitarian military-style dial. This handsome design reflects the restrained, functional elegance of 1930s American watchmaking, with bold Arabic numerals, a red sweep seconds hand, and a timeless aesthetic rooted in the pre-war era of precision timekeeping.
The watch is powered by an Elgin manual wind movement (Caliber 539), which is running well and keeping accurate time. The inner case back is properly signed Elgin National Watch Co. U.S.A., confirming its authenticity and quality craftsmanship.
The watch is fitted with a brand new black leather strap, which pairs nicely with the warm tone of the gold-filled case. Overall physical condition is very good, showing only light signs of age while retaining an attractive, honest patina consistent with a well-preserved 1930s timepiece.
