Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko Automatic Chronograph 6139-8029 men’s sports watch from the 1970s, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM). Powered by Seiko’s legendary 6139 automatic chronograph movement, this model comes from one of the most important eras in Seiko’s mechanical chronograph history and features a distinctive silver dial with blue accents and contrasting chronograph subdial. The watch is in full working condition and is running and holding accurate time over a 24-hour period. The chronograph is functioning properly, including starting, stopping, and resetting. The watch is fitted on an aftermarket vintage genuine Seiko stainless steel bracelet. I believe the crystal may have been replaced at some point during the watch’s life. To the best of my knowledge, all other parts of the watch are original. The watch is in great physical condition with signs of use and age.
