Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage Seiko 5 Sports 5126-6010 men’s 23-jewel automatic sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1960s. This distinctive early Seiko 5 Sports model features classic vintage styling and is becoming increasingly difficult to find. The watch is in full working condition and is running and holding accurate time over a 24-hour period. The only known issue is with the quick-date function. When the crown is pushed in firmly to advance the date, it can remain stuck in the pressed position and needs to be manually pulled back out. The quick-date function itself works, and all other features and functions of the watch are operating properly. The watch is fitted on an aftermarket stainless steel bracelet. The watch has signs of use and age, with considerable wear and scratching visible on the crystal. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully. I believe a simple crystal replacement or polishing would completely transform the appearance of the watch and allow the dial to present much more clearly.
