Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko 5 5126-7010 men’s 23-jewel automatic dress sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1960s. This classic early Seiko 5 features a beautiful blue dial with distinctive applied hour markers and day/date display. The watch is in full working condition and is running and holding accurate time over a 24-hour period. All features and functions are operating properly with one minor defect involving the quick-date function. The quick-date function works, but after pressing the crown firmly to advance the date, the crown needs to be pulled back out slightly as it can remain stuck in the pressed position. This is the only known defect and should be a relatively simple fix for a watchmaker. The watch is fitted on an aftermarket stainless steel bracelet.
