► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko Super 13025 Seikosha men’s manual wind classic dress watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1950s. The Seiko Super series represents an important period in Seiko’s early postwar watchmaking history, with these models becoming increasingly sought after by collectors of early Japanese mechanical watches.
The watch is in full working condition and is running and holding accurate time over a 24-hour period. The Seikosha manual wind movement is operating properly.
The watch features an absolutely beautiful quartered two-tone dial with gold-tone applied numerals and markers. The distinctive quartered dial design gives the watch an especially unique appearance and perfectly captures the elegant styling of 1950s Japanese watchmaking.
The watch is fitted on an aftermarket black leather strap.
The watch has signs of use and age consistent with its vintage nature. The case and dial show age-related wear and patina, giving the watch an authentic appearance after more than seven decades. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully by interested buyers.
