► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a Rare Vintage Seiko Alba Success V337-6010 Men’s Quartz Dress Watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. This is a classic and elegant Alba model featuring a clean multi-scale dial design, slim gold-tone case, and refined dress proportions that are characteristic of Seiko’s higher-grade Alba “Success” line from this era. This watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly. The movement is running as it should, and the watch presents well overall. All parts of the watch are original. The case back is factory engraved with a Japanese commemorative inscription, translating to Tenjin Building, Commemoration of the opening of the underground passage, dated April 12, 1989. This engraving indicates the watch was issued to commemorate the opening of an underground pedestrian passage in the Tenjin district of Fukuoka, Japan, adding legitimate historical and regional significance rather than being a generic presentation piece. The watch is in very good physical condition overall, showing normal signs of use and age consistent with a vintage timepiece. The case and dial present cleanly, while the original strap is beginning to deteriorate due to age. The photos best describe the watch’s physical condition. ► ARCHIVE FILE: ALBA — BRAND HISTORY

Seiko launched Alba in 1979 as an affordable, youth-focused brand for Japan and other Asian markets. Its playful 1980s ana-digi watches, 1990s Spoon models, and other short-lived experiments made it a home for ideas too unconventional for the Seiko name—and now make original Alba watches especially appealing to JDM collectors.
