► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko 5 Sportsmatic 6619-8090 men’s automatic dress watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1960s. Featuring Seiko’s reliable 21-jewel automatic movement, a classic silver sunburst dial, and a gold-plated case, this is an excellent example of the refined Sportsmatic series that helped establish Seiko’s reputation for dependable automatic watches. The watch has an issue with the quick date setting. When the crown is pushed in to activate the quick-set date function, it does not spring back out freely and must be pulled back out manually with your fingers. Beyond this issue, the watch is in full working condition and is running and holding accurate time over a 24-hour period. The watch is fitted on an aftermarket black leather strap. All other parts of the watch are original. The watch shows signs of use and age with a nice vintage charm. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully prior to purchase.
