► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a Rare Vintage Orient Chrono Ace men’s automatic dress sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1970s. Powered by a 23-jewel automatic movement, the Chrono Ace was one of Orient’s flagship models of the era, known for its high-quality construction, distinctive case designs, and beautiful dials. This example features a striking green sunburst dial paired with its original faceted crystal, giving it an especially eye-catching appearance. The watch is being sold for parts and repair as it is currently not running properly and requires a service in order to operate properly. The watch is fitted on an aftermarket stainless steel bracelet. All other parts of the watch are original, including the beautiful green dial and original faceted crystal. The watch is in good vintage physical condition with signs of use and age. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully. ► ARCHIVE FILE: ORIENT — BRAND HISTORY

Orient emerged from early-20th-century Tokyo watchmaking and, after its 1950 restart, built its identity around affordable mechanical movements made in-house. Technical showpieces, durable 46-series automatics, and distinctive King Diver and dress models gave the company a character separate from its larger Japanese rivals and a strong following among vintage collectors.
