Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage Casio MM-400 Multi Alarm Melody men’s digital watch, powered by Module 146 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1980s. This model is a highly sought-after early Casio digital with multi-alarm and melody functionality, making it a desirable piece for collectors and restoration projects.
The watch is being sold for parts and repair as it is currently not functioning and completely untested. It is unknown what the issue is or if it can be fixed.
All parts of the watch are original.
The watch screen has heavy screen bleed that covers most of the viewable display area. The case is in fantastic physical condition and would be an excellent candidate for installing a replacement module or attempting repair of the existing module with a new screen.
The watch shows signs of use and age. Photos best describe its physical condition.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY
Casio brought an electronics company's imagination to the wrist, moving from calculators to the calendar-equipped Casiotron in 1974. G-Shock toughness, Databank utility, and affordable icons such as the F-91W turned the company into a digital-watch giant whose early modules and resin-cased designs are now a distinct collecting field.
