► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Data Bank men’s digital wristwatch, model DB-101 with Module 1841, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1990s. This sleek, curved-case model is part of Casio’s iconic Data Bank series and features classic 1990s Casio styling with full databank functionality and Auto Light.
The watch is in full working condition, with all features and functions operating properly, including timekeeping, alarm, backlight, Auto Light, and databank memory. Please note: on occasion, when the top-left button is pressed, it may register a brief double press. This happens infrequently and does not prevent normal operation of the watch.
All parts of the watch are original, including the stainless steel Data Bank–signed bracelet and clasp. The watch shows signs of use consistent with age and wear, but remains in good overall condition. Photos best describe its physical condition.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY
Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
