► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Casiotron S-16 men’s digital sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1970s. The Casiotron line represents Casio’s earliest digital watch technology, and the S-16 is considered one of the more advanced Tron-era models, making it especially desirable among collectors. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions of the watch are working properly. The digital display is clear, and the buttons respond as intended. All parts of the watch are original, including the stainless steel case and original Casio stainless steel bracelet. The watch shows signs of use and age, but the photos best describe its physical condition. This is a very difficult model to find in general, and examples that remain fully functional are becoming increasingly scarce. A strong opportunity to acquire an important and collectible early Casio digital watch. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio brought an electronics company's imagination to the wrist, moving from calculators to the calendar-equipped Casiotron in 1974. G-Shock toughness, Databank utility, and affordable icons such as the F-91W turned the company into a digital-watch giant whose early modules and resin-cased designs are now a distinct collecting field.
