► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio A201 “Blue Thunder” men’s digital alarm chronograph sports watch from the early 1980s, powered by Module 103. This Japan Domestic Market (JDM) release is one of Casio’s most iconic early digital designs and remains highly sought after by collectors of early Casio digital models. Please note: this watch is being sold for parts and repair. The watch is running and holding accurate time; however, some of the side pushers do not properly engage the module. In addition, there is screen bleed visible along the edges of the display. Due to these issues, it is being offered strictly as a parts or restoration project. All parts of the watch are original, and it comes fitted on its original Casio signed stainless steel bracelet. The watch has heavy signs of use and age consistent with a vintage 1980s sports model. The photos best describe its overall physical condition and should be reviewed carefully before purchasing. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio brought an electronics company's imagination to the wrist, moving from calculators to the calendar-equipped Casiotron in 1974. G-Shock toughness, Databank utility, and affordable icons such as the F-91W turned the company into a digital-watch giant whose early modules and resin-cased designs are now a distinct collecting field.
