► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage Alba Quartz Y101-6010 Planetary men’s watch from the 1980s, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM). This highly unusual model showcases the playful and experimental design language that Alba, a Seiko sub-brand, became known for during the era.
The watch features a distinctive planetary-themed dial with colorful celestial elements, including a crescent moon and comet motif. One of the most unique aspects of this watch is its star-shaped seconds indicator located in the center of the dial, which rotates continuously as the seconds pass. In addition, both the hour and minute hands feature creative planetary-inspired designs that perfectly complement the whimsical space-themed dial.
The watch is in full working condition and all features and functions of the watch are working properly.
The watch is fitted on an aftermarket brown leather strap that pairs nicely with the dark case and playful dial design.
The watch has signs of use and age, but the photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully.
Models like this represent the imaginative design era of Alba watches during the 1980s and are becoming increasingly difficult to find today, especially in working condition.
