► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an ultra-rare vintage Casio BP-400 Ana-Digi Blood Pressure Monitor wristwatch, equipped with Module 770, produced exclusively for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1990s. This model represents one of Casio’s most advanced and experimental medical-tech releases, combining traditional analog timekeeping with digital blood pressure and pulse monitoring. These were extremely expensive and niche when new, and full sets are virtually impossible to find today. This particular BP-400 is even more special: the caseback is factory-engraved as a 60th Anniversary commemorative edition for Kokuyo Co., Ltd. (October 1996), making it a documented corporate-issued, limited production piece. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly, including timekeeping, analog display, digital display, pulse monitoring/blood pressure measurement. As designed on this specific BP-400 model, there is no sound function for button presses. The watch is brand new in box with original paperwork and the original BP-400 VHS instructional tape — an unbelievably rare complete set. All parts of the watch are 100% original, including the stainless steel bracelet with dual-tone gold accents and Casio-signed clasp. The watch is in mint physical condition. The photos best describe its physical condition. Included is an extremely collectible complete set that is almost never seen together: • Original JDM box • Original instruction manual and paperwork • Original BP-400 instructional VHS tape • Watch (full working condition, mint) Key Details • Model: Casio BP-400 • Module: 770 • Era: 1990s • Market: Japan Domestic Market (JDM) • Features: Analog/Digital display, blood pressure monitor, pulse reader, time, date • Sound: No sound function (this model was designed without audio) • Strap: Original Casio stainless steel bracelet with gold-tone accents • Condition: Brand new in box with papers and VHS tape — full working condition, mint physical condition • Caseback Engraving: “60th Anniversary – Oct. 1996 – Kokuyo Co., Ltd.” This is an exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire a museum-grade, fully complete BP-400 set — one of Casio’s most unusual, innovative, and historically significant medical-technology watches. Ships carefully. Feel free to message me with any questions.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
