Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Infrabeamer JG-10 Men’s Digital TV Remote Calculator Game Watch JDM 1990s Module 1403. One of the most technologically ambitious watches Casio ever produced, the JG-10 combines digital timekeeping with infrared remote control functionality, gaming features, calculator functions, and a unique keypad interface that helped make it one of the most innovative wearable electronics of its era.
The watch is in full working condition and all features and functions of the watch are working properly.
The watch is fitted with an aftermarket black resin strap. All other parts of the watch are original. The watch is in very good physical condition with signs of use and age. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully.
This is an extremely rare model with very few surviving examples remaining. The keypad on these watches is known to deteriorate over time, making complete and functional examples increasingly difficult to find. In addition to its rarity, the JG-10 stands out as one of the most unique watches Casio ever produced, featuring an incredible combination of functions that were far ahead of their time. Production numbers were limited, and surviving examples in fully working condition are highly sought after by collectors.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY
Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
