► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an exceptionally rare vintage Casio Hustle Monira GM-5 digital game watch, featuring Module 479 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. The Casio game watch series is among the most sought-after and collectible digital watches ever made, with the Hustle Monira GM-5 being one of the rarest and most difficult models to find today thanks to its distinctive built-in game, colorful graphics, and unmistakable early 1980s Casio styling. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions are operating properly, including the timekeeping, alarm, and game functions. It is particularly rare to find a Hustle Monira GM-5 in fully functional condition, as these watches were originally marketed toward children nearly 50 years ago and relatively few examples have survived intact and operational. All parts of the watch are original with the exception of the band, which has been replaced because the original band deteriorated with age. The original front game buttons remain intact and have developed a slightly reddish appearance with age. The LCD has slight screen bleed visible around some of the edges of the display. This does not affect the functionality of the watch or its game and timekeeping functions. The watch has signs of use and age consistent with its vintage nature. Considering the rarity of this model and the fact that it remains fully operational, it is a particularly desirable surviving example. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully by interested buyers.
