► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio 110QS-37 men’s digital chronograph sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1970s. This early and increasingly hard-to-find Casio digital model comes from the brand’s pioneering era of digital watchmaking and remains highly collectible today. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions are operating properly, including accurate timekeeping, chronograph operation, and a functioning backlight. Please note a known and common quirk with these early vintage Casio models: when the backlight button is pressed, the screen may briefly turn off while the light is engaged. The watch continues to keep accurate time during this moment, and the display immediately returns once the backlight button is released. This behavior does not affect the functionality or usability of the watch in any way. All parts of the watch are original, including the stainless steel case and the Casio bracelet with signed clasp. The watch is in good overall physical condition, showing signs of use and age consistent with a vintage piece. Photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully. Key Details: • Brand: Casio • Model: 110QS-37 • Era: 1970s • Origin: Japan Domestic Market (JDM) • Functions: Time, Backlight, Digital Chronograph • Bracelet: Original stainless steel Casio bracelet with signed clasp • Condition: Fully working; all original; signs of wear consistent with age A desirable and collectible early Casio digital chronograph, ideal for collectors seeking an authentic JDM piece from Casio’s formative years. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
