► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an ultra rare NOS Casio Honda Racing Team F-85 men’s digital sports watch from the 1980s. This Japan Domestic Market (JDM) exclusive is one of the most collectible collaborations Casio ever produced, created to celebrate Honda’s F1 World Grand Prix era. It features bold Honda Racing graphics, a special edition dial, and Module 160 functionality. The watch is in full working condition and all features and functions operate properly. It is currently fitted with an aftermarket strap, as the original band has deteriorated from age. The watch comes complete with its original box, original hang tag, and original manual, an extremely rare full set that almost never appears in this condition. Physically, the watch is in mint, never used condition, exactly as shown. The outer presentation box has acquired some light marks and minor wear from storage over the years, but it remains very presentable and displays well. The photos best describe the overall condition. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
