► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko Scuba S800-0010 men’s digital diver sports watch, a Japan Domestic Market (JDM) release from the early 1990s. Built for serious underwater use, this model offers 200M water resistance, dive functions, and a bold digital display housed in a rugged stainless steel case with a striking purple bezel.
The watch is in working condition with all features and functions operating properly except for the backlight, which does not appear to be functioning. This should be clearly noted before purchase. Timekeeping, dive modes, alarms, and other digital functions are working properly.
The watch is fitted with an aftermarket genuine Seiko diver strap. The case, bezel, and buttons are original. The watch shows signs of use consistent with age but remains in good overall physical condition. Please review the photos carefully, as they best describe its actual condition.

► ARCHIVE FILE: SEIKO — BRAND HISTORY
Seiko begins with Kintaro Hattori, who opened a shop selling and repairing clocks in Tokyo's Ginza district in 1881, at the age of twenty-one. He founded the Seikosha factory in 1892 to manufacture wall clocks, built Japan's first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913, and put the Seiko name on a dial for the first time in 1924. By mid-century his successors ran one of the most vertically integrated watch companies on earth, making everything from hairsprings to cases under its own roof.
