Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage Seiko D229-5010 men’s digital alarm chronograph sport watch from the 1980s, produced for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). This distinctive model is one of Seiko’s more unusual and innovative digital designs from the era, featuring a rare dot matrix display and a highly unique control layout. Unlike most digital watches of the period, this model incorporates four front-mounted buttons along with a multifunction crown that pulls out and controls various digital functions, giving the watch a very distinctive and advanced interface for its time.
