► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko Brightz 7B22-0AC0 Solar Radio titanium men’s sports watch from the 1990s, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM). This advanced vintage Seiko model features solar charging technology, radio wave control functionality, and a lightweight titanium construction that made the Brightz series one of Seiko’s premium technology-focused lineups.
The watch is being sold for parts and repair as it is currently not functioning and completely untested. It is unknown what the issue may be or if the watch can be repaired. It is possible that the watch may simply require a new rechargeable battery/capacitor, however no internal inspection has been performed so this cannot be confirmed.
The crown pulls out and moves freely as it should. The hands also do not operate in the same way as a standard quartz watch, as this model uses various radio controlled setting modes for hand adjustment and synchronization.
All parts of the watch are original including the Seiko signed titanium bracelet.
The watch shows signs of use and age but remains in good physical condition overall. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully by interested buyers.

► ARCHIVE FILE: SEIKO — BRAND HISTORY
Seiko begins with Kintaro Hattori, who opened a shop selling and repairing clocks in Tokyo's Ginza district in 1881, at the age of twenty-one. He founded the Seikosha factory in 1892 to manufacture wall clocks, built Japan's first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913, and put the Seiko name on a dial for the first time in 1924. By mid-century his successors ran one of the most vertically integrated watch companies on earth, making everything from hairsprings to cases under its own roof.
