Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Surfing Timer men’s digital sports watch, model SUF-120 with module 942, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1980s. Part of Casio’s “Marine Gear” series, this model was specifically designed for surfing and water sports, featuring a tide graph, alarm, chronograph, and 100M water resistance. The watch is in full working condition with all features and functions operating properly. All parts of the watch are original, including the case, strap, and clasp. Physically, the watch is in good overall condition with visible signs of use consistent with age. The original yellow strap shows some discoloration and wear but remains intact. Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year.
