► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio FS-10 Asahi Members Club limited edition men’s digital watch, powered by Module 465 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. This highly collectible model features a unique minimalist design with distinctive Asahi Members Club branding, making it one of the more unusual and sought after Casio releases from the era. The watch is being sold for parts or repair. It did not power on after a battery was inserted and was not tested beyond that point. Due to this it is unknown what the exact issue is or whether the watch can be repaired, and it is being sold as is. All parts of the watch are original including the case, strap, and Casio signed buckle. The watch is in good physical condition with signs of use and age. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully prior to purchase. This is an extremely rare limited edition Casio model that is not often seen for sale and would make an excellent project piece or addition to a serious vintage Casio collection. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
