► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Digi Graph HGW-10 men’s digital sports watch, powered by Module 917 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. This distinctive model features Casio’s Digi Graph display design, combining a unique visual layout with classic multi-function digital styling from the brand’s golden era. The watch is being sold for parts and repair as it is currently not functioning and has heavy screen bleed that is clearly visible throughout the display. The watch has not been tested whatsoever, so it is unknown what functions may or may not operate or what issues may be present. All parts of the watch are original, including the case and the original Casio strap. The watch shows signs of use and age consistent with a worn vintage watch. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
