► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a Rare Vintage Casio DEP-700 men’s Titanium Twin Sensor digital diver’s sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1990s and powered by Module 1473. This highly sought-after model is part of Casio’s professional dive series and features depth measurement and temperature sensing technology, making it one of the more advanced and rugged digital tool watches of its era. The watch features a titanium case with bold industrial styling, gold-tone accent screws, and clearly marked “LOG MEMORY” and “TITANIUM” engravings on the bezel. The dial displays depth and temperature functions along with time and log data, and the caseback is correctly signed DEP-700 with Module 1473. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly as intended, including timekeeping, log memory, depth sensor, temperature sensor, and illumination. All parts of the watch are original. The keeper loop on the strap has been replaced at one point in time. The watch shows signs of use and age consistent with a vintage diver’s tool watch. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
