Up for sale is a rare vintage Alba Y950-5050 men’s ana-digi calendar sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. This distinctive Alba model features a unique combination of analog hands with an integrated digital display, reflecting the bold and experimental design approach of the era.
The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions of the watch are operating properly. Please note that the digital display is extremely faded and very difficult to read, which is important to consider for everyday usability.
The watch is fitted on an aftermarket black leather strap.
The watch has signs of use and age, and the photos best describe its physical condition.

► ARCHIVE FILE: ALBA — BRAND HISTORY
Alba is Seiko's other answer to the 1970s upheaval it had itself created. Seiko launched the brand in 1979 as a youth-oriented value line, a name taken from the word for dawn, slotted beneath Seiko proper just as Pulsar, acquired in 1978, served the same role in export markets. Alba watches were designed and built within the Seiko group, using its quartz calibers and factories, but were sold almost exclusively in Japan and Southeast Asia, which is why most of the world has never seen one in a shop window.
